| Truly a fantastic and dark power metal album by the best rhythm guitarist in heavy metal today, Jon Schaffer. If you like power metal and thrash metal you should like this cd. It's a winner.

| The first album to feature the incredible Matthew Barlow. Many consider this to be Iced Earth's finest hour. While I don't know if I would agree that it's their best, I do think this CD is awesome!

| This one gets a perfect 10. However, I find it puzzling that Schaffer doesn't even like this one. One of the best albums in the history of metal.

| This is the best album Iced Earth created. Singer Matt Barlow brought something new to Iced Earth. He was the first decent singer they got.

Solid release being "Last December" my fave cut and one of the best songs of the act...some other fine moments are tracks 3,7(nice)& 8...87/100
