probably the best epic/power metal album i've heard.give me choirs, strings and a fanfare of trumpets with my metal and chuck the keyboards in the bin.

Stunningly good second album from the Italian maestros. This album takes athe elements from 'Legendary Tales' and improves in every way. The compositions are outstanding and the playing incredible. The choruses are huge, addictive and exhillirating. I love this album, it is an all-time classic. The best of the 'Algalord Saga' 4 CD set. This album will take you to a (fairly generic) fantasy land with music full of emotion, pomp and bombast. Sounds cheesy? But you cannot help but be drawn in and r

When I first heard about this band I figured they were the ultimate in cheese. Then a friend gave me a copy of this album... I sez "Oh great, this is gonna suck", but damned if it didn't grab me from the first track to the very last. This was my introduction to the Symphonic Power Metal genre and it's still my favorite disc in this style, although Rhapsody Guitarist Luca Turrili's first solo CD, KING OF THE NORDIC TWILIGHT, is a close second! The moral: Listen before you pass judgement on bands!

Epic Hollywood Metal in here...a good album...tracks 2,3,8,9 & 10 stand proud and strong...86/100...the next two efforts are more interesting than this one,or at least more(and that's to say a lot because this one is)commercial than this one.
