after 'powerslave', this is one of the best cd-s from maiden. really good stuff. buy it, don't think of it. (don't mind the second disc, not worth of it...)

Wasted Years has to be their best song!

j., from a commercial point of view, perhaps. Really, I do not have a single favorite song out of Maiden's 12 studio albums. All of the songs differ yet there are some subtle and more obvious similarities from song to song than others, but let it be said that Iron Maiden's singer is Bruce Dickinson, not Blaze, not Paul--BRUCE. Maiden's drummer is not Clive, it is Nicko. And also let it be said that Janick came in at a bad point in Maiden's career, but he was a wise choice & is a great player.

es la rehostia, como todos los de esta banda con bruce como cantante.

Yeah Muthafuckas!!!! Every song on this fucker is a masterpiece. Stranger in a Strange Land is a little wanky, but the rest of the album makes up for it. Heaven Can Wait and Wasted Years are two of my favourite IM tunes, and the cover art will keep those stoners among you occupied for a long ass time. Totally classic album, at their peak, especially when they shy away from trying to sound all futuristic. Fuck futurism.

That is really great album, and all songs are fantastic! IRON MAIDEN - FOREVER THE BEST!

From: Zze Date: October 21, 2003 at 6:18
I have always liked this album, however, its less heavy than previous ones , but still great. of course Iron Maiden helped to create what we know as progressive metal on this record since its heavily influenced by progressive metal. This is another great Iron Maiden record, altought after this album they would only return to be REAL Iron Maiden on Fear of the Dark

From: Zze Date: October 21, 2003 at 6:22
I mean, heavily influenced by prog rock ( above )

From: Raven X Date: November 13, 2003 at 17:34
Every song on this CD was a winner, though I feel Heaven Can Wait and Deja Vu stood above them all. 2nd best CD, right behind Powerslave.

A little diferent because of the synth, but a really good album. 8.9/10

From: Shannon Date: June 19, 2004 at 20:11
I remember when I was in high-school and this album came out, I was pretty dissappointed with all the synthesizer stuff on it (compared to Powerslave, Piece Of Mind, etc.) But I guess it's all Iron Maiden, so 'It's all good!!' Plus I saw them on this tour and the show was GREAT! The b-sides are the worst they ever did though. Album Rating: B-

From: Shannon Date: June 19, 2004 at 20:12
Oh, I forgot! One of the best Maiden album covers ever by Riggsy too!!

From: Big Papa K Date: July 1, 2004 at 17:44
The first kink in the armor here. "Wasted Years" is my favorite song of theirs, and "Stranger In A Strange Land" is very good, but the rest of the album kind of bores me. 6/10

Somewhere in Time, Wasted Years, and Steanger in a strangeland are my favorites, a solid release with synthesizer guitars. great leads and rhythm in all the songs too. I love how they change so many guitar parts in there songs, its refreshing and also enjoyable to listen to. A definate must for any fan of heavy meatl guitar. Rock on people!!

Este disco es sin lugar a dudas el mejor de los Maiden.Las composiciones son sencillamente geniales(kedaros con los solos de guitarra de Wasted Years y Alexander The Great...).Adrian Smith is the best!!!!!.10/10

One Of Her Best Fucking Album Ever, MAIDEN KICK ASSES!!!!!!!!!!

From: EDDIE Date: February 4, 2005 at 7:45
Trully a masterpiece! I heard all IRON MAIDEN's stuff and I love the Di'Anno's and Dickinson's eras (not a big Blaze Bayley fan). But let me tell you something, everything that MAIDEN did in the 80's are all classics...but this one is by far my favorite. The synth made a great sound for MAIDEN! Caught Somewhere In Time, Wasted Years, Heaven Can Wait, and Stranger In A Strange Land are the best songs from this album! UP THE IRONS! Simply the best in the world, IRON MAIDEN!!!!!

i love this albun so much , that i´ve learned how to play many bits of songs , and stranger in a strange land fully.if i could only choose a maiden album to take to an island this would be the one

ORO PURO. 100000/10

From: rick kerch vzla Date: August 2, 2015 at 13:16
A commercial Maiden in here!!! ..."Heaven Can Wait" & "Stranger In A Strange Land" are my fave of the Record...tracks 2,3 & 8 are also in my book...i own the vinyl so i don't have all the B/T's but i do own a 3-track Maxi Single vinyl of "Stranger In..." that brings "That Girl"(i believe this is a cover of British AOR Band FM) & "Juanita" .85/100

From: hair metal again Date: July 10, 2022 at 5:23
