arxontas likes depeche mode. manowar will desecrate the souls of all who dare to challenge their superiority. die homo's!!!!

From: HolyShit Date: April 10, 2003 at 23:24
Hum. Wait a minute, you laugh at Manowar and you say you listen to Cannibal Corpse? Haha! How pathetic.

From: King James Date: June 1, 2003 at 7:18
You're all weirdos. Manowar kinda sold out for this CD, but I still like it.

From: chid Date: June 25, 2003 at 17:26
Arxontas has a wide appreciation of music. However I think he fails to appreciate how deeply MOW connect with their fans. As all true fanatics we can never be hurt by 'with all their burned out jive'. Music is very special to each person and I don't care if Arxontas does not 'get' MOW. I do.

This is a guilty pleasure for me. This music pumps me up, but only when I am alone. WHen I am with others I tend to join them in bashing this for the cheesy macho shit it is. However, amongst the cheesy macho shit genre, Manowar are by far the asskickingest. Hail and Kill!!!!!

From: DISCO Date: June 8, 2004 at 18:35
Manowar Kick arse every one no's it they maybe kinda cheesy an macho but its all good an they've got a whole load of fan so they cant be doin to bad

From: motley crue fan Date: June 29, 2004 at 5:26
Fighting the world is perhaps one of thier lightest songs but its one of my favourite metal song of all time. Excellent anthemic feel and kick ass guitar rhythm. blackwind, fire and steel is another one of those song from this album that is just unbelivable good. These four manowar guys really rock!

From: Anthony Date: September 7, 2004 at 2:30
Great "guilty pleasure" album.

From: Metalhead66 Date: November 5, 2004 at 13:27
Manowar?? Maybe they should tour with Thor...They would Probably kick your sorry ass if you didn't like this. It is so over the top it's good.

From: eddie rocker Date: November 20, 2004 at 19:35
The truth is that bands like this one should be respected. Or they'll fight the world killing who is our enemies and rocking who is on our side. They have blown speakers in their shows...no other band alive has the power to do that!

From: Bill Billman Date: January 18, 2005 at 0:12
Blowing speakers at a show has nothing to do with the power of the band. It just means they turned the amps up too loud and wrecked their speakers. I would interpret it as more a negative thing, actually.

From: Metal Rulz Date: January 18, 2005 at 10:34
We know that blowing speakers has nothing to do with the power. But I think that MANOWAR had the guts to turn the amps up to 10! Why do you think they have the guiness record for the world's loudest band? I do know, and it is for that. So people metal lovers, Turn the volume up to 10!!!! And about this cd, it is maybe their most commercial sounding cd, but I love it!

From: Dani Filth Date: March 12, 2005 at 10:31
Not bad, not bad... I cannot say they are my favorite group around, but this is a good album and i strongly recommend it.

From: Dani Filth Date: March 12, 2005 at 10:32

From: metalalways Date: April 5, 2006 at 14:58
manowar kicks ass i love in the cd booklet how it says death to false metal who could not love blow your speakers for rock n roll the narration from orson welles in the song defender fits that song perfectly black wind, fire and steel is good also and the first song fighting the world the part in that song when they say manowar is made of steel not clay. play it loud don't play it low!!!!!

From: juan carlos Date: January 18, 2007 at 22:08
Su album mas comercial. A este disco le guardo mucho cariño pues escuchábamos muchas veces con los amigos que decían les encantaba pero la verdad es solo un buen disco, lo mejor vendría en el siguiente disco que sí gustó a todos. "Figthing The World" "Carry On" Vaya temita, cuantas veces la habremos escuchado.. miles!! "Defender" y "Black Wind, Fire, and Steel" las mejores. Solo por esas vale el disco, no mas. "Blow Your Speakers"?? mmmmm.. paso 8/10

From: pie75 Date: September 7, 2010 at 7:29
wow man i think manowar are cheesy, silly, macho, loud and just fucking great i realy enjoy them eric adams has a great voice and manowar just get you pumped their songs are highly amusing best for me are the title track, blow your speakers, carry on,defender and black wind fire and steel if manowar annoy you you have no sense of humour

From: rick kerch vzla Date: April 11, 2018 at 22:12
A kinda commercial release but the power needed to still catch the die-hard fans' attention."Blow Your Speakers","Carry On" & "Violence And Bloodshed" are my fave ones and i'm sure of many as well.85/100

From: hair metal again Date: May 28, 2019 at 10:18
excellent release for MANOWAR in a clear commercial path with some anthemic songs that could get some airplay back in the day like "blow your speakers","fighting the world" and "carry on"!the rest is ok stuff ,typical i d say and overall an enjoyable metal release
