|Disappointing! Mike Lee's vocal range has become restricted to yelling. Ray Parris yet again puts on a guitar clinic - too bad no one thought to write any hooks into the songs, though. I was excited to get this after spinning "Rock for the King" umpteen hundred times. What a boring let-down! The lyrics have improved, dealing with issues like bigotry; but, they aren't as Christocentric. This one left me scratching my head & never went beyond one listen. Now, it lies in a dresser drawer.

|Following in the footsteps of "Atomic Arena" Barren Cross created another power metal monster. This time around however, there were a couple more commercial sounding songs like "Hard Lies," but a majority of the disc is just quality power metal. "Two Thousand Years" and "Stage of Intensity" are two of my favorite Barren Cross songs ever! Both are epic power metal numbers with some killer vocals and guitar work. |There is another version of this CD as well that had a different track #11. "Your Love Gives" is replaced by "Escape in the Night". http://www.nolifetilmetal.com/barrencross.htm

|Gotta love Barren Cross. You just can't help it. Mike Lee kills as usual. A couple of commercial songs thrown into the mix this time, but still a great heavy metal platter. Get it! Favorite tracks: Stage of Intensity, 2,000 Years.

|one of my all time favorites. Mike Lee delivers like none since Bruce Dickenson.

|A great disc. Some very catchy tunes on here while still maintaining heavyness and raw power.

|Gran disco pero menos Heavy que su fabuloso Atomic Arena. Temazos como "Out of Time" "Inner War" "The Stage of Intensity"(todas sonaron acá en Perú vía Radio Miraflores en el espacio de White Metal) o esa "State of Control" y "Two Thousand Years" mis favoritas. Muy Recomendable. 8.9/10
