From: WhiteLion Date: September 20, 2001 at 10:43
Increadible metal. Full of power and speed melodies. Based on one of my favourite books "Silmarillion" by Tolkien!

From: Loximann Date: September 30, 2001 at 13:39
Blind Guardians is one of the best groups over world, and Mirror Mirror is one of the best songs i've ever heard. If you don't have this CD you're gilipollas.

good cd!! based off of a good cd from Tolkien. if you're like me and don't like to read a lot, this cd kinda gives you an ouline of the book (i tried to read the book but i'm too slow and it was too confusing). a little too many intermissions but good for somebody trying out blind guardian (this was my first blind guardian cd).

A travel through time to the age of Middle Earth. Another amazing feat that only Blind Guardian could accomplish. Tales of darkness rising to power and the struggle of survival for the followers of the light. A must have for any collection containing Blind Guardian! P.S. Don't skip the intermissions, their important to the story!

From: tailgunner Date: March 23, 2003 at 12:08
un disco INMENSO con tematica tolkien, y con canciones tremendas como mirror mirror, the curse of feanor, into the storm... de mis favoritos.

From: Fallen Date: April 13, 2003 at 11:35
lord of the rings rulz, blind guardian rulz and this album is hardly rulz.

From: flamingmoth Date: May 7, 2003 at 2:12
very atmospheric, and vocal melodies that will follow you around for days (especially Noldor)

From: Promonex Date: May 13, 2003 at 13:40
i actually don't like blind guardian a lot, i heard three of their albums before (follow the blind, a night at the opera, imaginations from the other side) and i liked neither of them. but this disc simply blew me away!! especially into the storm, the curse of feanor, thorn and a dark passage filled my iron heart with joy! blind guardian may not be the best band, but this disc is definitely (in my opinion) the best power metal album around! 10 points.

From: GABO Date: June 10, 2003 at 0:05
Incredible melodic Power Metal.Period.

From: mirage Date: June 15, 2003 at 11:25
one of the best power metal albums ever, for sure. Nightfall, Noldor and Eldar are incredible........

From: Rycheage Date: June 19, 2003 at 20:58
This may not be the best progressive metal release ever, or even their best ever, but I really am enjoying listening to it. Given the topic and the title, "Nightfall in Middle Earth", this is a very dark album, without a happy ending. I get the sense that this isn't the end of the story...perhaps to be continued on their next?

From: Schmieckie Date: June 29, 2003 at 7:23
This album is way overrated. In fact, the whole Power Metal genre is overrated. What's left to contribute post-Helloween? Fuck anyone who likes this tripe, you obviously have never had sex with a girl and never will, unless you are one of those bodybuilder types, in which case you probably have had sex, but she didn't enjoy it, you puny-dicked faggot.

From: Helmet Date: August 31, 2003 at 18:30
Such a great album..a must to own. NIIIIIIIIIGGGGGHHHT FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLL

From: Fallen Angel Date: September 18, 2003 at 2:35
Well Schmieckie, you can go suck a fuck! You obviously have no taste in music or literature, and as far as saying people will never have sex with a girl, someone's taste in music has nothing to do with their ability to attract the opposite sex. If anything, that post only displayed your own insecurity.

From: Ragnar Date: October 17, 2003 at 17:11
War of the wrath an Into the storm are great.War of the wrath is good but it sounds to similar to Manowars warrior prayer,But in the end Super duper album as every of their albums Hansi, Thomas , Andre and Markus keep on Rocking.

From: Never-Atom Date: December 11, 2003 at 8:01
This is the ultimate album! Blind Guardian are an awesome band for any kind of rock/metal/LOTR's fan!

From: Gorskman Date: January 17, 2004 at 14:57
Breath taking, simply breath taking. Im shocked, Never have i heard such a beutiful tale spun into the words and notes of a piece of music literature done like this, in terms of story telling this album rivals that of Scences from a Memory-Dream Theater. From the War of wrath its not stop talent, Mirror Mirror is on my top three songs of all time list, God jod guyz keep up the good work! \m/

From: antonio Date: March 31, 2004 at 12:32

From: iris Date: April 12, 2004 at 16:59
this album should be the musical versition to lord of the rings books. a masterpeace for the ages!!!

From: Encaitare Date: July 23, 2004 at 23:49
I just got this today and love it ever so much. It really did an awesome job of interpreting the Silmarillion (I felt proud in a really dorky way when I recognized the things they were singing about, ie: "You cut off your friend's hand" about Fingon and Maedhros.) Everyone who is a rock/Silmarillion fan should definitely get this one.
