pretty good release by FATES WARNING back in 89 ,in a time when commercial hard rock ruled the planet and as a result EVERYBODY had a commercial edge to its sound!this is no exception and FATES WARNING turned to a less metal direction and polished their production and the songs were slower and not with heavy riffs!overall Perfect Symmetry has its moments like the great "through different eyes" or the "at fates hands" but it could have been better if the songs were shorter and catchier ,like they did to their next one!good stuff in general, cool heavy metal

This act has been the influence of many nowadays popular Prog Metal groups but they haven't achieved the status necessary to be considered as one as well. Here you have good songs in the shape of #2,5(nice),6,7 & 8...cool release...70/100. :-)
