"Stonecold" and "Glory To The Brave" absolutely smoke. This CD is worth it for these 2 songs but the rest are good too. "The Dragon Lies Bleeding" is what power metal is all about.

Can't people see through this band. They've got nothing in common with real heavy metal bands like AC/DC,Saxon UFO,Picture etc. They sound so wimpy and well-behaved. People are so used to Korn,Limp Bizkit and all those horrible bands that everything with a clean singer and a guitarist that plays solo's seems like "real heavy metal". But if you compare it with the real metal bands of the 70's and 80's it's ultra-trendy

What a crappy "band" from booring Denmark...NOT! Great debut from very fine BAND! This was heavier than next ones, but this one has so much potential! Joacim is great with hes castrate-heavy voice and tunes like Hammerfall, Steel Meets Steel and Stone Cold are great to sing along! FIGHT!!!

worst bullshit ever! Put some music instruments into the hands of the backstreet boys and you've got half the chance you end up with Hammerfall, the other half with Linkin Park!!! What a shame it's categorised Heavy metal!! Get a life and quit listening to those shitty bands who have no originality and no talent at all!! Down with power metal! Long live true metal!!!!!!!

Hammerfall rule all power-metal bands. GTTB's their first album, and still one of the best by them or anyone else

In my opinion this is their worst CD, but it's still very good. New fans should start with their newer stuff and work back to this, as they get a little better with each release.

I think they got worse with each release. But i still love all of their albums. The newest two just don't have the speed to match glory or legacy.

The best band from Sweden! I dare to say that even tho they rarely change, I love all their cd's! Even the songs that are "poppy" for other people are great for me!

This one still ranks as my favorite Hammerfall release. It has that hungry, raw and spontaneous metal feel that follow-up albums would no longer have. "Dragon Lies Bleeding" is perhaps the ultimate power metal song!
