This is a detour from the power metal leanings of earlier works, but it works. This is probably the finest vocal work of Deris' career. "Falling Higher", "Hey Lord", "Don't Spit On My Mind" and "A Handful Of Pain" highlight the melodic metal performances. The total departure from metal is the track "Time" which is both beautiful and insightful. Oh they still have the power metal with "Push" and "Lavdate Dominvm". This is a must own CD for any metal fan.

What can i say these guys fuckin made Power metal. A mix between Iron Maiden and Queensryche must i say more? I must admit it hurt to see this band dissolve without any decent recognition. Andi Diris brings back the band with this comeback cd and fills the seat of a legend that was before him. One of my fav vocalists. You cant call youself a true power metal fan if you dont have this cd on your shelf.

Still tryin' to decide if this album or THE DARK RIDE is my favorite Deris-era Helloween album. Then again, the new RABBIT DON'T COME EASY is a strong contender is well. Let's just say that they keep getting better and better!

My favorites are I CAN and MIDNIGHT SUN. Does anyone understand what does the song LAVDATE DOMINVM means? The whole freaking song is in latin! But then again, a kick ass cd.

When you listen to this band you might always expect a good commercial Heavy Metal/Power Metal Record, that's for sure and this one is not an exception...tracks 4,7(nice),9,10 & 11(great!)are pure examples of what i'm talking about...enjoyable stuff indeed .86/100
