Ghostly ghouls, hobgobblins and thing that go bump in the night? No! Not that Halloween. A much more killer, more melodic interpertation of Halloween. This shits real good!!! This German band dishes out plenty of musical treats! No need checking this ear candy for razors cause once you hear this treat of an album you well be cut to hell!!!

The best album by the Kiske lineup of Helloween. One of my favorite album covers of all time as well! I proudly wore my KEEPER PART 1 back patch on my jacket all through high school!

Kiske, eras demasiado para los Helloween. No lo ves? Ahora dan pena hace tiempo. Kiske, que grande eras... Los keepers son los mejores discos de Power Metal de la Historia. Gracias, maestro.

KISKE'S GOD

From: Big Papa K Date: July 1, 2004 at 17:27
The first album with Kiske, and his voice fits this band perfectly, being able to hit the notes that Hansen sometimes had trouble with. "Future World" is one of their catchier tracks and "Helloween" is their best epic track. 8/10

trully a classic...the keeper of the seven keys legend will never die!!

From: alien Date: January 4, 2005 at 6:00
By combining speed metal with melody, clean and high-pitched vocals and raving guitar solos and dual harmonies Helloween managed to create Power Metal! The addition of vocalist Michael Kiske in the band makes this album a must have, the man can hit every single note with great precision and emotion! This is definitely Helloween’s best album, all songs are masterpieces and especially “Halloween” is a progressive-fast-emotional-operatic-epic metal anthem.

The 2 keepers are the soundtrack of my childhood. This one is a stunning album full of happy yet quality harmonies,'UP' feeling, optimistic atmosphere, overall speed/melodic metal at its finest! VERY FAR from the moody, aggressive and miseramble sound that is the trademark of the last 12years albums,in the heavy/power field!! Check also:SCANNER(1st/2nd),CHROMING ROSE(1st), HEAVENS GATE(1st/2nd).ALL fine pieces of EUROPOWER!!!!
