Don't have the CD yet but have the album and the album with the bonus tracks. It Rocks None The Less !

From: SIXXSWINE Date: May 5, 2002 at 12:04
The regular isue is excellent. A great disc, not as great as Number, but still great! As for the bonus disc, I must say that this is the weakest one of the bunch. Only two tracks?! This version with the bonus disc you can live without. Find the Seventh Son, Live after Death or Somewhere in Time instead. 8.0

From: Jokke Date: September 7, 2002 at 15:06
This is truely amazing!! After Number of the beast, this is the best Maiden album!! The only song that could have been left out is quest for fire.. besides that everything rocks! To tame a land is my favorite song ever, and Songs like The Trooper, Revelations, Still life and Where eagles dare makes you want to jump in excitement after you have bought it. ABSOLUTE GENIOUS!!

From: The Fizzy One Date: November 11, 2002 at 21:38
As near as I can tell, this is where things start to go down. THis is where they stop just being a metal band, and try to be a metal OPERA band. Somewhere along the line here, Bruce starts overdoing the vocal whammy-bar something FIERCE. Still worth it for the Fizz Picks: "Revelations," "Die with Your BOots On," and "The Trooper." Skip the bonus disc, with that godawful version of "Cross-Eyed Mary." Bruce sounds like a fucking idiot on that one. Sorry!

From: Dennis Ortega V Date: January 23, 2003 at 16:39
This is the best Iron Maiden Disc ever. it has great songs as he trooper and Where Eagles Dere. And to the ass hole of The Fizzy One The one that sounds like an idiot is you motherfucker talking like that of a master pice like this one and the greatest heavy metal voice of history.

From: ART Date: February 10, 2003 at 6:31
Tough to top this one. Great band, and probably the best ( at least one of the best ) album they ever did. Iron Maiden is classic metal at it's finest, and this record is top!

From: Scott Date: February 11, 2003 at 3:48
One of the greatest metal albums ever recorded, and my personal favorite Maiden disc!

From: Nunya Date: March 19, 2003 at 17:47
Fucking killer! The Cross Eyed Mary cover rocks my balls!

From: Todd Date: March 25, 2003 at 20:34
Flight of Icarus is one of my alltime favorites...saw the video once and only once on MTV

From: rising power Date: March 31, 2003 at 2:44
I agree a little bit with Fizzy. This album is when Maiden started to lose their rock "n roll roots a little. You got all these enoying galoping rythyms. I think Nicko is a crap drummer. He doesn't sound tight. He should take drumlessons from Phil Rudd(AC/DC) who I look upon as the best HEAVY METAL drummer in the universe. Still Piece of mind is a classic

From: Zze Date: October 21, 2003 at 6:02
0this is one of the best Metal records ever, one of the most importants as well as my favourite Maiden release. fantastik

From: ryan kuhn Date: November 24, 2003 at 18:36
Iron Maiden is awesome. They are my 2nd favorite band after Metallica. Piece Of Mind is an awesome cd. The Trooper rules!!!!

From: Luke Date: January 30, 2004 at 23:46
How the fuck can you say this album is bad when it has THE TROOPE, DIE WITH YOUR BOOTS ON, FLIGHT OF ICARUS and REVELATIONS on it? These tracks are good, heavy tracks with excellent riffs on there... Get a grip.

From: Tocallo Date: March 30, 2004 at 16:58

From: GABO Date: April 5, 2004 at 19:53
Where Eagles Dare, Revelations, Flight of Icarus, The Trooper, To Tame a Land, etc. KICK ASS ALBUM. 9.4/10

From: MaidenWV Date: May 4, 2004 at 10:54
I think it is Maiden's masterpiece still to date.

From: Koelkast Date: May 11, 2004 at 10:47
This record is not my favorite one off all the maidencd's. I listen to this one almost... never. All these people say: " ITS GREAT!!!"... listen to notb, powerslave or ssoass, those are brilliant cds...

From: Hate mail Date: May 22, 2004 at 22:52
All their albums fuckin kick ass.

From: Shannon Date: June 19, 2004 at 20:45
THIS ALBUM IS MY PERSONAL FAVORITE FROM MAIDEN. I DON'T KNOW WHY, BUT IT IS JUST IS. AND TO FIZZY ONE: YOU SUCK HAIRY DONKEY BALLS!! AND YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT!!! ALSO, TAKE SOME GRAMMAR LESSONS DUMBASS.

From: Big Papa K Date: July 1, 2004 at 17:39
The band at their best. The songs have more of a progressive influence here and take longer to get into, save for "Flight Of Icarus", but it is well worth putting time into. Some of their best songs here in "The Trooper" and "Revelations". 10/10

From: Aslam Date: July 14, 2004 at 6:56
fuckin good !!!

From: Steve Date: October 26, 2004 at 3:21
Although The Trooper is proberbly Maiden's best song, the album is definetly not. I have all Maiden's albums, and this has to be one of the weaker ones. Its not terrible, far from it actually, but The Number of the Beast and Powerslave are so much better.

From: EDDIE Date: February 4, 2005 at 8:12
This album is that good for 2 reasons: Flight Of Icarus and The Trooper. Worth buying this one just for these two songs (but the best are really good too!) Where Eagles Dare was a good way to kick out from the start!

From: metalalways Date: February 11, 2006 at 18:46
this cd kicks ass, to tame a land and the trooper are kick ass songs the album cover is very cool too. piece of mind is right up there along with the number of the beast and killers.

From: juan carlos Date: November 20, 2006 at 9:00
Otro disco IMPRESCINDIBLE. 9.8/10

From: rockhardrock Date: August 26, 2010 at 3:39
probably my favourite maiden record.it is heavy, melodic and has lots of gems like: revelations, flight of icarus, the trooper and sun & steel.

From: pie75 Date: September 5, 2010 at 4:17
another great album good follow up to the beast album not as good (though no album was)but it has some classics that's for sure where eagles dare, flight of icarus, die with your boots on,the trooper, still life and my favourite on this revelations classic album

From: fcmahlzeit Date: May 28, 2011 at 18:10
My favourite Maiden album, perfect from the beginning to the end...Up the Irons!

From: halfordhughes Date: June 2, 2011 at 14:13
this is their best!

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: June 8, 2014 at 18:44
Nicko McBrain takes over on drums, and is the final piece of the classicMaiden lineup. The first half of Piece Of Mind is just one classic track after another, five in a row that show Maiden at their absolute best. Thiss migght be why a lot of folks name Piece Of Mind as the band's best album, which iss interesting to me, because you rarely hear the last four songs mentioned (although "Sun And Steel" is great), and I don't know one person who actually likes "Quest For Fire."

From: rick kerch vzla Date: February 28, 2016 at 12:37
Decent album for me with some good tracks such as 3,5,6 & 8...enjoyable like most of Iron Maiden's releases .86/100
