Possibly the greatest Hard Rock/Metal concept album ever made. This record never stops kicking butt from the beginning to the end. Even after 13 years, the album sounds fresh. Ryche-N-Roll!!

From: SIXXSWINE Date: December 15, 2001 at 22:10
Can you say cult classic?! This is the one that began it all for Ryche! Yeah they had a couple discs out prior, but this is the one that really got the ball rollin' for them(in the USA). One, if not THE best Hard Rock concept album of ALL time. It sure kicks Pink Floyd's ass into THE WALL! If you haven't ever heard Ryche, this would be a great introduction to the band. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed. This one is a 10.0 on the SWINE SCALE!

From: junik Date: February 17, 2002 at 10:53
a must have: and neeman says the rest !!!!

From: Jörgen Date: February 27, 2002 at 2:42
Must be the best album on this planet. If you don´t have it, get it.

From: Dusty Date: March 6, 2002 at 23:14
This is a classic Queensryche album there biggest album of all time classic prog metal at its best they are the masters of prog metal i really like Eyes of a Stranger.

From: Steve Date: April 5, 2002 at 1:00
I just don't get it. Eyes of a Stranger is a great song but the rest of the album is weak. Empire has much better songs.

From: TIM Date: May 12, 2002 at 14:00
This is a great album. I liked Revolution Calling, Eyes of A Stranger, and I Don't believe In Love the best. I liked the hits from Empire better, but overall I think this album is more consistant.

From: Kim Date: July 18, 2002 at 16:15
Its a fantastic album. Still I have no idea why they ended up on the brutal site.

From: metaldieu Date: August 5, 2002 at 8:38

From: Steve T Date: September 18, 2002 at 7:37
Natural progression from Rage For Order into a concept piece. The band did everything right andthe use of Peter Collins was a stroke of genius. Nothing to say that hasn't been said already about how good this album is.Just that the band would never better it.

From: ted Date: October 6, 2002 at 10:24

From: robert Date: October 30, 2002 at 9:05

From: Rocker76 Date: November 26, 2002 at 16:26
One of the all-time great hard rock albums (Pink Floyd meets Judas Priest!)

From: MALLORCA´S ROCK Date: January 31, 2003 at 12:12

From: ART Date: February 10, 2003 at 6:37
This is just a tremendous album. The songs are all good. Would highly recomend.

From: Rÿche maniac Date: March 29, 2003 at 16:16

this album is not hard rock to my ears, however is one of the greatest melodic metal and most influential ever. Queensryche´s best and one of my favourite records ever

From: Oh yeah Date: February 7, 2004 at 16:32
Boy, Steve, are you confused! Empire better than Mindcrime?!?!?! Sure, Empire had Is There Anybody Listening, which is incredible, but it also had Silent Lucidity and a lot of other crap that was written for the radio. Mindcrime is nothing short of legendary... it blows everything else out of the water. If you don't recognize that, you have major problems, dude. Seek help.

From: Brittany Dunn Date: February 25, 2004 at 11:47
I like the song waiting for 22 and operation:mindcrime and i don't belive in love and breaking the silence and anarchy-x the all kick butt and chris degarmo is so cute.

From: Alejo Date: July 28, 2004 at 15:08

From: macrofire Date: August 8, 2004 at 22:45
Uno de los mejores albums de la historia como el master of puppets, number of the beast, reign in blood, screaming for veangence; este material no le pide absolutamente nada a estos es una obramaestra. Queensryche rules!!!!!

From: Metal T Date: April 6, 2005 at 15:12
D*mn fine album !--Great concept and stellar vocals from Tate'.However,I believe King Diamond' is still the man to beat when it comes to telling a story . ----

From: gubi Date: June 27, 2005 at 18:08
I consider it the best rock release in 1988, without any doubts at all

From: Supernaut Date: June 28, 2005 at 14:41
Great album! Not as good as Empire though.

From: twisted_vikki Date: July 6, 2005 at 14:57
If you like prog.metal and you never heard this album it's time for you to repair your mistake and by and listen to this album.

From: juan carlos Date: February 26, 2007 at 16:54
I REMEMBER NOW! JAJAJAJAA....... 10000000/10

From: rockhardrock Date: August 26, 2010 at 6:44
i relly love the sound on this album, it's great.i don't know who produced it but he did a great job. as i don't play any instrument, but i like to sing, the first thing that i hear is the voice of the singer and mr. Tate is a master! when i will take some time i will pay more attention also to the lyrics (story) of this album. my favs: revolution calling, i don't believe in love, eyes of the stranger, spreading the disease and breaking the silence. buy this record or just get it!!!

From: halfordhughes Date: June 2, 2011 at 13:49
