If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Brutal Metal forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Vicious Rumors CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Brutal Metal as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Vicious Rumors are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

VR have a new lease on life; heavy modern metal riffs, speedy guitar solos and mid-range aggressive vocals. Songs like the title track and Born-Again Hard are mid-paced heavy metal numbers which need no other label. Other tracks, like Puritan Demons are fast and heavy touching a style of speed metal that is rarely played by today's metal bands. I am glad that Thorpe got the alternative bug out of him and returned to playing the style of music we all want from VR, balls-to-the-wall heavy metal!

Of the post non-Carl releases this is the best one.Former Megaton Blonde/High Treason singer Morgan Thorn doesn't sound much like Carl Albert at all but gives a solid, spirited performance on this thing.Worth the price of admission alone for 'Break' and the awesome 'Blacklight'.Would also recommend the 'Megaton Blonde' release on the Retrospect label.
