Vinnie kicks ass - he didn't really join any other metal "bands" after this.

Fans of Vinnie Moore will not be disappointed with this release. Vinnie left for a solo career and eventually to join UFO after recording this one. There are two instrumentals, the heavy-melodic Premonition and the Eruption style Invader to enjoy as well as the heavy vocals and pounding rhythms of the other songs. The music is as close to power metal and thrash without being either I feel but delivers a hard punch without sounding too modern. Soldiers of the Night is a good heavy rocker with catchy lyrics as is March or Die and you'll find yourself hammering out your own vocals with them. Medusa and In Fire are other highlights. I've been listening to this for the past few weeks almost non-stop and know I'll come back to it again and again.
