Awesome band playing melodic Power Metal. This is a great album but their finest work has to be 'V.R.'. Carl Albert was one of the greatest singer around sadly missed (RIP). Long live V.R. and if you want some killer live pics I have some for sale. Get in touch. friday13th@robhalford.com

Excellent, and unfortunately ignored, album. Kind of like the missing link between Judas Priest and Metallica. Hard to find on CD nowadays but well worth seeking out.

This was very over looked. It is the gap between that Fat Freddy talks about. Geoff Thorpe was a satriani student I think...Cool Art work.

One other thing..The solo in When love Comes Down was a direct lift of the solo Steve Via Played on Ladies Night in Buffalo!!

I marked the ST disc as their pinnacle disc, it isn't by much, this disc runs directly with it, they take it up a notch on this album, like the ST disc, your once again given one of the greatest heavy metal vocalists in history, the dual guitar shred attack returns, and again they deliver 11 pitch perfect, unblemished tracks, once again your also given completely awesome fucking production, , and really there isn't a whole lot of wiggle room between S/T and WTTB, most people probably wouldn't even be able to tell you what the difference is between the 2, here is the difference, the ST disc is an all around perfect diamond, it could be considered the most perfect heavy metal disc of all time, it was fine tuned with a slight commercial sound, but the end result was way to heavy to fit anywhere in the mainstream, which kind of doomed it from the start, all restraints came off on WTTB, they kick it up a level, and give you unrelenting pure, 100% american aggression metal, BUY THIS NOW!!!
