COMPLETELY FUCKING SICK! Hay where is 'Butchered At Birth'? Come on Brutal Metal step up to bat, or has the DEVIL got you so disembowled that you can't lift a finger? He! He!

A nice little death debut album, but not nearly as good as their future endeavors. This is very good raw, death metal, and listening to it you can hear the strong Possessed, Slayer, and Death influences. The good on the album (Shredded Humans, Born in a Casket, Rotting Head, etc.) outweighs the bad on the album (Put Them to Death, A Skull Full of Maggots). If you want to hear Cannibal Corpse at their best, go for Gallery of Suicide or The Bleeding, but if you just want raw death, this is it.

If you don't like a certain style of music, don't judge it. Cannibal Corpse isn't rubbish. People like horror movies so why not horror music? Corpse forever.

Butchered at Birth is by far the best CC album, but this album comes close to the brutalness.

Classic, to say the least, Eaten Back to Life is one of the best Cannibal Corpse cds. Only problem is finding it (and all the others!) on original cd, 'cause it's banned in so many places.

From: RATTLEHEAD Date: September 9, 2004 at 16:14
Cannibal Corpse is the worst metal band ever. In fact, they should be listed under pussy music. What the hell is the singer saying? If you cant understand what their saying than its not music.

From: Some guy Date: September 10, 2004 at 10:33
Cannibal Corpse suk!! I hatet hate the fucking singers who growl (with the exception of In Flames and a few Testament songs)!!

From: somebody Date: November 2, 2004 at 9:38

From: T Date: November 9, 2004 at 20:13

From: Steve Date: December 11, 2004 at 5:17
seriously... u have to be joking!! What the fuck is the singer saying?!! Seriously! The only word i could hear is 'grrrr' and thats not even a word!! But i guess its a good thing that he sings like that, cause do u know wat he is talking about? Im not even gonna mention it! Go and find out ur self and be glad that he sings like that!! I hate these type of Death Metal bands!! Might as well be called 'Noise'!! Guitarist isnt too crash hot either!! This is bullshit!!

From: shinji Date: April 27, 2005 at 21:52
Oh, I can tell you that when I was reading the lyrics to their song "Necropedophile" where the lead singer molests a dead childs corpse, I immediately turned against this band. This goes way beyond any fucking horror movie- and dont give me that "freedom of expression" crap cuz child molesters should have their genitals ripped off. Cannibal Corpse should stand for "Cunt-faced Cocksuckers".

From: Cotton Candy Date: May 3, 2005 at 21:49

From: Dani Filth Date: May 8, 2005 at 0:55
whilst the MUSIC is good, this is one of the very, very few times i have to draw the line with a band. try as i might, i simply cannot get into songs about child molesting, gore for the sake of gore, cannibalism, etc... whilst i respect the band as being strong-stomached enough to put out this kind of art, i must draw the line. I will never be a fan of Cannibal Corpse.

From: Dani Filth Date: May 8, 2005 at 0:58
On a brighter note, check out some other types of Death Metal that i find enjoyable- Death, old In Flames, Obituary, Carcass, Hate Eternal, Fuck...I'm Dead. the last is particularly amusing.

From: juan carlos Date: November 15, 2006 at 14:32
Clásico del Death Metal, las letras totalmente Gore, cosa que no va conmigo pero la música; y lo que mas vale, es otro cantar. Que mas decir, solo tu. 10/10
