One of best's albums in gore/grinding death metal genre. Fast parts mixed with putrid melodies and pathological poetries. A must for the true lovers of the most raw and sickest band in the history of gore metal.

One of the greatest death/grindcore albums of all time. Extremely high recommendations on this!!!. This albums 12 years old and it still Fucking rocks the shit out of most death metal albums to this day. I give it a 15 out of 10.

A pure classic. One of the definitive goregrind albums of the 80's. The lyrics are just about as stomach turning as any death metal lyrics have ever been. The downtuned guitar and blastbeat drumming, combined with low growls and higher pitched vocal wretches make this album one sick muthafucka. 10 out of 10 doesn't even do this album justice.

Definately one for the goregrind crowd. This album shows Carcass in a better light than did RoP did as the production quality is much better this time around. More time/effort seems to have been put into the song writing as well since the songs seem to flow much better on this one.

ok, let me just say that there is no word sick enough to describe this album. this definately kicks my ass every time i toss it in the disc player.....much better production wise than reek, with out this cd we may not have bands such as exhumed, impaled, disgorge(mexico)and so on.....i put this cd in my top ten all time for this genre, and anyone thats ever heard it will probably agree.vile, disgusting lyrics, impressive crunchy riffs, cannon blasts, and just an over all rotten sound...pure sickness

This truly is a metal classic, maybe the sickest album i ever heard. I really like the sound of the album, although its a little crappy produced, but a lot better than reek. This album really intimidated me when i first heard it, it's melody lines combinated with the lyrics and double vocals are really disturbing. If you like death metal, you really should buy this one. This is geniune noise terror!!! Hail carcass

carcass definite their sound with this second production. more professional recording than the first. this is the point to break the style of the band to turn more thrash, more soft and more massive.
