Solid performance from In Flames. This is (arguably) their best release. Tight melodies, very well done vocals and nice meaty hooks are abundant on this album. A must own.

first let me just say that in flames is some of the best over all music in the genre....that being said, this album is definately a good one, theres plenty here for even the weakest of metalheads to enjoy, lots of melody, some chunky riffs, good vokills, the music is very well written and structured......i cannot say enough about these guysone look at how big theyve gotten, and youll see that its the music that did it for em, and its very well deserved! check these guys out for sure

Great, heavy music -- then the singer (and I use that term lightly) opens his mouth and fucks it up royally... What's with all this growly shit being passed off as vocals? I dare anyone to decipher anything this guy is rasping on about without a lyrics sheet... In a normal voice, this stuff would be a great listen; with the gloomy, doomy supposed voice of death the frontman uses, it's a waste of time...

Dude if u think the voice in this band is bad (which it aint),u try listining to Cannibal Corpse or Napalm Death and see if u can decipher those fucked vocals! The vocalist in In Flames sounds like Rob Halford from Judas Priest compared to those bands! Besides, I can understand what Anders is saying most of the time anyway!! Listen to Whoracle!!
