I heard this album 9 years ago in cassette format. A little raw mix remind us of Metallica's Kill Em All. It's worth to listen to. Visit us at : http://metaleastteen.cjb.net

This album followed the album "Kill To Survive" and a live album. The promise that the first album showed was lost in Solitary Solitude. Completely lacking in originality and low on quality riffs the album can be classified as mediocre at best. There are some good songs on this like "Decline of Rule" and "Swallow Your Soul", a cool tribute to the Evil Dead movies. Don't expect any surprises on this one, it is standard thrash. I recommend the first album "Kill to Survive".It is much better.

Sensational talents like "Armored Saint" never got there big break because they resisted pressure to model themselves after the latest trendy icons. "MELIAH RAGE" has been subjected to these trials. Unlike the college/grunge rock that Boston has a reputation for producing, "Solitary Solitude" is nothing short of the quality expected from this band ! "MELIAH RAGE" devots their songwriting to that continues hard hitting midpoint situated somewhere between thrash and mainstream. Shot, anyone?

Very good album. Solid and polished. My favourite track is "The Witching".
