Great album. A little on the upbeat side for goth, but very enjoyable. They're from Italy... who knew that anything *good* came from Italy?

Great stuff. Hot singer (the female singer, maybe the dude too, I don't know). I usually hate all things goth (because it makes me want to go and kill the first guy I see wearing a trenchcoat), but I enjoy this immensely. Not very metal, more heavy pop, but why be prejudiced? If I went around challenging every band's metal credentials, I'd miss out on tons of stuff (pretty much anything from France, Italy, Spain, or Portugal) that deserves at least a fighting chance. Check it out, people.

Freinds, foes, all the creatures of the night. We have stumbled apon a revolution of gothic metal. At first I doubted Lacuna Coil and questions its gothic personna but as I listened to their music and went through one album after the other I can whole heartedly say that Lacuna Coil is second only to the best. Their blend is perfect, a montauge of orgasmic mysery that cluthes you and will not relinquish its grasp apon you soul. But to put it bluntly, After Forever has some company at the top.
