| Anvil are one of the original 'speed metal' bands. They were fast, heavy, and ruled the world in 1982. They have been releasing solid REAL metal CDs since the 80's. It's a shame they didn't gain a larger audience. This compilation, released against the band's wish isn't a bad overview of the band and features a few unreleased tracks. It is the ONLY Anvil CD to not have an anvil on the cover. Metal on Metal is one of heavy metal's greatest anthems. www.nolifetilmetal.com/anvil.htm
