If you notice that a particular Malice CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Brutal Metal as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Malice are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Great band and good album. If they had held off on the debut and pooled the 5 good songs off each release together then they would have been world class. Jay and Mick were just amazing but the vocals were always the weak link.

Awesome album! Great production! Didn't this band appear in some 80s movie??? My fave track is SINISTER DOUBLE...Sure they sound somewhat like Priest but I think there's alot more to this band than just that...

I don't really understand what this band is doing here on BrutalMetal??? They should be on HeavyHarmonies instead...A lot of their stuff was pretty polished and not that heavy at all...

I like this much better than the first. The music's great on both, but the lyrics were a little silly on the first one IMHO. Great stuff though, wouyld be nice to see them on HH, there's definitely heavier stuff on there...

The first two songs on this: "Sinister Double" and "License To Kill" really smoke. Good Luck finding the original press,its pretty scarce.

The reissue with bonus tracks and really good booklet is easier to get hold of on ebay. Do yourself a favour-buy it it rocks!!

Just wanted to chime in with a comment--one of the earlier posts talks about Malice's vocals being the "weak link"...what??? Having sung in a few bands, I can attest to just how talented James Neal was and how top-flight his vocals were on 'License to Kill.' A tad derivative--indeed. He out-Halfords Halford on "Sinister Double" and "Circle of Fire." But his range is incredible, his tone rich, and his vocal presence is strong. Hardly a 'weak link'...

Leave it to Atlantic to bury this treasure like an Easter egg. This time out the band has the confidence, songs, and attitude to spare. They have a Priest-like consistency, but here they deliver far more. "Against the Empire" is a practical blueprint for millenial power metal. "License to Kill" had an anthemic chorus (and cadence) similar to later Manowar hits. With its quiet-to-loud dynamic "Chain Gang Woman" is a good hard rock tune (a la VH or Dokken). Criminally overlooked in its time!

I saw Malice live at a small club in Toronto called "The Gasworks" and they kicked ass. I thought the weakest link was the drums, DEFINITELY NOT the vocals! Where's James Neal now? In a Buddhist monastery??

Very good album here, I like it a lot. It has a little Judas Priest influence to it. I would rate it 8/10

very good release for MALICE offering polished heavy metal music with a strong production by Max Norman !the vocals and the guitars are outstanding and this album is flawless from start to finish with songs like "license to kill" ,"vigilante" and "chain gang woman"!James Neal reminds me of Lizzy Borden and overall this one is a classic of that era with athat fine artwork as well
