The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Saxon CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Brutal Metal as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Saxon are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This album is from a time when metal was metal and there was no doubt about it.Nowadays, all you seem to have are this ultra (oh were so heavy, cause we downtune all the f**king time) bunch.Add some unlistenable death metal vocals from an endless no-talent pool of modern musicians and there you go."Saxon",along with "Priest","Dio","Maiden",old "W.A.S.P.","Bay Area Thrash" etc. That was METAL!-It was real, today nothing is real. ----Long live the classic metal bands .

Funny but the sequence of the songs is totally different on my disc. This a true metal classic.I just love "hungry years" and "taking your chances".But Wheels of steel is still their masterpiece.8,5/10.
