This album is from a time when metal was metal and there was no doubt about it.Nowadays, all you seem to have are this ultra (oh were so heavy, cause we downtune all the f**king time) bunch.Add some unlistenable death metal vocals from an endless no-talent pool of modern musicians and there you go."Saxon",along with "Priest","Dio","Maiden",old "W.A.S.P.","Bay Area Thrash" etc. That was METAL!-It was real, today nothing is real. ----Long live the classic metal bands .

Funny but the sequence of the songs is totally different on my disc. This a true metal classic.I just love "hungry years" and "taking your chances".But Wheels of steel is still their masterpiece.8,5/10.
