A lot of CCM thrashers love this album, but it never did much for me. Although the musicians are AMAZING, on par with any secular thrash bands, the singer was the weak link. He couldn't decide whether he wanted to be Udo Dirkschneider or King Diamond, he would go back and forth from growling to falsetto screaming at the drop of a hat,. After a while you just want to stuff a rag in the guy's mouth! I can't listen to this for more than ten seconds without screaming 'SHUT UP!'

This is the best Tourniquet album ever. They will never top this. Guy Ritter was the voice that gave Tourniquet dimensions before Luc came in and sang every song the same damn way. Tourniquet has even done a song about old people, how metal is that? Good luck to Gary and Guy may the power of metal someday bring you guys back together.

Whether you love or hate christian metal, you cannot deny this incredible piece of work.'Stop the Bleeding' is by far their best effort. Produced by Roger Martinez of Vengeance Rising this album blows away most in the genre. Killer Vox !

I must say that I love this album!! Tourniquet helped me a great deal with finding my inner self and I want to say that You don't have to be anyone to be good, you don't have to choose between Udo Dirkschneider or King Diamond, just be your self and do what you like!! Thats exactly what those guy's have done. They are absolutely not commercial and I respect that. It's one of the best albums I ever heard.

Some of the best Christian thrash metal I've ever heard.

Someone stated "he would go back and forth from growling to falsetto screaming at the drop of a hat". I agree. It's part of the brilliance of this CD. This is one of my favorite CDs ever! Pure metal brilliance. By the way, this CD wasn't produced by Roger but rather. He helped in the mixing, but his name was only used because the record company thought it would help sell units. Actually, Bill Metoyer produced this album and didn't take credit.

Interesting Scott--I did not know that Metoyer' produced "Bleeding".Always thought it was Roger since thats what the credits say.Anyway, many years after the fact it kind of figures Martinez' didn't produce it--and given his "new found atheism" it makes sense that he was not the brainchild behind this christian metal masterpiece .Bill Metoyer' should've insisted on putting his name to it,because as you stated this album is definitely a brilliant piece ! ----

I guess it was for financial and contractural reason that Metoyer could not put his name on the project. I am surprised he just didn't use his psuedo-name Gordan Shumway. Guitarist Glenn Rogers, who played on this CD, was also the co-writer of much of the material on the first Vengeance CD and now plays in underground cult favorites Hirax.

CRAP! Wish I could edit my own words. The last sentence in the above post wasn't suppose to be there. It is part of a review I was writing for Deliverance.
