Arguably Overkills best work. This was the last album guitarist Bobby Gustafson played on. The album is a testament to clean riffs, low-end technical driven bass and all around inspired playing the band has not duplicated since, except for Horrorscope. The vocals are clear, the production quite good, and the solos intense whammy-driven shred. Guitar transcriber Wolf Marshall acknowledged the worthy effort of this landmark album. Decay earned Overkill a place in the classic thrash hall of fame.

This album does kick some major ass. I worked with these guys for a brief period on the tour to support this album, all of the guys are great to work with, but there's an ass in every crowd. Gustafson was the one in this one (he also thought he was the spawn of James Hetfield, really get a life). These guys are still kickin ass sans Bobby and doing it their way. No sell-outs in this group. Wish them nothing but the best.
