The Shades of... cd, from Shape of Despair, is one of the best CD's which I have ever heard in my life. It is really slow, and very heavy, with grunts, female vocals, and flute all being seemlessly integrated, to produce a depressive sound, which will grab hold of you, and never let go.

Indeed. It's slow, depressive and heavy. The grunt vocals are great and the atmosphere it creates is dark and sinister..

I just bought this album for the sake of collecting all the metal i can get my hands on(Its a disease if you ask me). Was pretty impressed with this one i have to agree with the above comments. Dark,Deppresive Real metal. I also loved the female vocals on this one.
