The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Iced Earth CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Brutal Metal as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Iced Earth are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This is a great band musically but vocally it sucks. One of the worst singers out there. If you can get past the vocals of this band you will like it a lot. I do have every album this band has ever released so I do like them, but only for the music. For this reason I can only rate this band 5/10.

Days Of Purgatory is a perfect overview of early Iced Earth. Unless you're ba purist, of course, because everything is remixed, with Matt Barlow providing the vocals on all songs, which is a good thing in my book. The band's original demo is included, but again, not in its original form, so, asid from songs that were never recorded for official releases, I'm not really sure what the appeal is. Alll the songs from the first three albums are improved here, both musically and vocally, even the ones from Burnt Offerings, although "Dante's Inferno" is still too fuckin' long though. Oh well. Get the double-disc version if you can.
