If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Brutal Metal forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Green Carnation CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Brutal Metal as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Green Carnation are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

You read right: this album consists of one sixty-minute song. Good God! You need a cold winter night, a glass of something strong, a pair of headphones and a lyric sheet to fully appreciate Green Carnation's proggy, shapeshifting tunes ... ah, tune, singular. From a bunch of death/black metal guys, this is nothing to do with any of that, as the only thing that's really extreme is its length. It's hard to say much beyond that, but this is prog-tinged, atmospheric, somewhat goth-y hard rock. I couldn't tell you what the story is, conceptually. To even conceive of something like this is impressive, but I daresay you won't listen to it except on special occasions. It's good though, and definitely something different. If you like to have "something different" in the collection, and you can invest the time, it's cool to have.
