from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page.
The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Brutal Metal

EPs and CD-singles from Evergrey are also welcome to be added, as
long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

|Torn is actually one of my favorite releases by these mournful Swedes, yet it's one I hear few people mention. The music is as accomplished as ever, but the keyboards and piano take more of a backseat. There isn't the requisite piano ballad like "Closure" or "missing You," and the synths, while there, are used more sparingly. Torn might be one of the band's heaviest discs, while still retaining their trademark morose melodies. Seven-string guitars aren't just for nu-metal bands anymore. Tom Englund is at the top of his game, channeling all the sadness, fear, regret loss and desperation you can imagine, his voice clear and strong without being a prissy power-metal yodel, and his lyrics are verbose and poignant even if his English is still somewhat fractured. Favorite songs are "Broken Wings," "Soaked," "Fear," "Numb," "Torn" andj "Still Walk Alone."
