This truly is an outstanding thrash metal album, I had the original on vinyl and found it on CD the other day, this album changed my metal life!, listen to the lyrics there are stories being told to a wicked sound, brilliant guitar. Its one of the best albums I have bought, its a shame they have split and are now Skyclad, I bought one of their albums the other day and its a bit different, more like the levellers on speed. Rubbish. (ie, lots of violin and, well..it's not good)

THE best speed that money can buy! I missed seeing Sabbat about 1 month before they split-up and will never forgive myself. Rare on CD, this album is GOLD.

Classic speed metal by UK band Sabbat; includes adaptions of the three track demo aired on Tommy Vance's Radio 1 Rock Show back in 1987...

Saw this guys live when they just released this debut...great band indeed and its vocalist Martin Walkyer is a bomb onstage (at least back then)...best tracks for me are "A Cautionary Tale","Hosanna In Excelsis","I For An Eye" & "For Those Who Died"...87/100
