This CD is the epitome of power metal in the 80's. Dark and thought inducing, all the songs on here rock but especially "Fake Healer", "Badlands" and "The Spell Can't Be Broken". Mike Howe's vocals are awesome. Highly recommended.

This album will be buried with me. Metal Church were reborn on this album before they died again on the next.Mike Howes vox were powerfull and passionate at the same time. Howe was hungry and it showed. I can still feel the bands conviction on this release even now.

Great album! Kirk Arrington has to be one of the best "metal" drummers out there.

Ah yes the First MC album with Mike Howe is absolutely awsome I love it from the opening riff of Fake healer you know this one is gonna rock :-) I personaly love "Badlands" that song has been a major inspireation for me in the last couple of weeks The Lyrics have empowered me to carry on "No more paradise, no more soothing rain All the sacrifice, the pain is all the same Still I'm pushing onward, alone I can't deny My presence fills the desert, my spirit never dies" That is so powerful Hail MC!

Even tho I love the MC material with Wayne on vocals (except for the horribly boring Masterpeace album), I gotta give the edge to Mike Howe, he was awesome on this album and "The Human Factor!" I still spin this album regularly to this day!
