This is a great comeback album for Jeff Water's Annihilator group and I'm sure that the addition of ex-Overkill guitarist Joe Comeau (Vocals) helped reenergize Jeff's creative song writing and killer guitar work with his knack of songwriting abilities himself and topping it all off with an excellent vocal range! Just what the metal doctor ordered!!! This is a must buy for any Annihilator Fan!!!

Old Jeff Waters is the the equivalent to Yngwie Malmsteen, when it comes to having a stable line-up. It seems like just when you get used to a singer, he's shown the door. The same goes for every other musician in the band. This has got to be Jeff's best work to date. I have tried over the years to give the band a chance & finally a disc that won't wind up in the used bin of the local indie shop! I'm also happy that he recorded the new disc with the same singer. It's called progress...

I should be ashamed of myself for admitting this, but this was the first Annihilator CD I ever bought. I picked it up 'cos I'm a huge Overkill fan and was wondering what Joe Comeau sounded like as a singer. He crushes, the band kills, I've seen the light, I'm now going crazy trying to complete the Annihilator back catalog. I can't believe this band was right under my nose for so many years and I never paid any attention! PS "Chicken & Corn" is the funniest "bonus track" I've ever heard!

This used CD sat in a bookstore for well over 1 year before I decided to purchase it. Going by the cover I thought is was something along the lines of Cannibal Corpse or Mortician. I finally broke down and bought it since no one else was going to do it. GREAT PURCHASE! Clean vocals, fantastic guitar work. One of my favorite CD's. Truly a great thrash album with plenty of hooks. But the cover still sucks!

one of the best Thrash Metal albums, it's just perfect the way that waters plays, killer riffs and very good solo's. this album shreds the old style of thrash metal sound i personaly rate it 10 out of 10.

"Denied" is nice, but never cared for "Joe Comeau" as the frontman/singer for "Annihilator" .The cover art does indeed suck . ----

Not much to add to what has already been said. This is a fine slab of molten thrash metal. Put it on, blow your speakers and I dare say, MOSH!!!! 'Ol Joe Comeau is a fine addition to the Annihilator machine. 'Tis a pitty he won't last though. 9.5/10

Powerful release!!!...some of the singers who has worked with Annihilator has left a mark and this guy Joe Comeau ain't an exception..."Epic Of War" & "Hunter Killer" are the best cuts IMO but don't leave outside tracks 1,3,4,5(sounds like a song taken of any AC/DC album!),7(ummm,sounds a bit like "Nailed To The Gun" of Fight here & there but not a bad song though)& 8...enjoyable...85/100
