I really like the band's take on "Land Of Confusion," as the song lends itself surprisingly well to Diturbed's style, replacing the cheesy synth-bass of the original with the modern, heavy, guitar chug. Even Draiman's voice sounds a lot like a ballsier Phil Collins. (Their cover of Faith No More's "Midlife Crisis" is also very good.) The band's original tunes are more of the same, although they seem to be showing a few more classic metal influences that were uncool to flaunt back in '99 or 2000. Most of these nu-metal bands trash-talked old-school metal in those days, and it turned out they grew up loving Priest and Maiden like the rest of us.
