This one is SCREAMING for a proper reissue now that Dime is no longer with us. For some reason Pantera always like to ignore these old albums, and I am not sure why. There are different from the thrash and groove oriented stuff they became known for, but "Power Metal" is still an excellent metal platter!

This is a good album. It's not a glam album at all, it has more in common with bands like Obsession and Vicious Rumors, and even 90s Pantera, than with 80s glam garbage. Listen to songs like "Over and Out" and "Death Trap"...no way could a "glam" band ever come up with a song as heavy or intense as this. Overall, it's a cool album, and I think it would still be in print today if it wasn't for the album cover.

This cd kicks a lotta ass this is true pantera at their peak along with cowboys from hell and vulgar display of power phil anselmo sounds different when he sings on here i like this style of singing diamond darrell kicks ass on guitar no wonder this cd is hard to find can't understand why pantera wants to forget about this cd and the ones before it because they all kick ass needs to be reissued.
