If you notice that a particular Godsmack CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Brutal Metal as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Godsmack are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

While most people are partial to the band's debut disc, I think this is their best work to date. The song writing is right on & the production is excellent. This keeps the tradition of Alice in Chains alive. Most people might write them off a "just another Nu-Metal band," but they are clearly more than a flash in the pan. SIXXSWINE 11.25.04

I wouldn't go out of my way to buy one of their albums, but this is an album that can be enjoyed whilst drinking with your mates.unfortunately, it all sounds the same after a while. "Awake" pulls my vote here.

A worthy follow-up to the debut. Heavy, semi-grungy metal, angry in the age of the whine. The band pretty much picks up where they left off, and one could be forgiven for getting a little bored. Godsmack aren't the most imaginative or diverse band out there by a long shot, but they're goood at what they do. My favorites: "Sick Of Life," "Bad Magick," "Mistakes" and "Trippin'." If you liked the s/t, there's nothing to dislike about Awake except that it offers no surprises whatsoever.
