I can't believe there are no other comment on this kick ass album. This is Warell Dane before he got all moody. If you don't own this, buy it now. You can get this CD for under $10 bucks from Cd universe.

Seattle Washington And they rock!

From: Fat Freddy Date: August 3, 2003 at 9:33
Sanctuary were from Seattle, Washington, USA (a city that had a proud metal history before all that damn grunge stuff took over) and features Warrel Dane, now in Nevermore... and this album was produced by Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, if you need any MORE underground "cred."

From: Azazel Date: September 1, 2003 at 20:01
Battle Angels is the Anthem for High pitched shrieking vocals...Gotta love this cd. Oh...and Sanctuary were much better than Nevermore...Much better

Screaming vocals! Killer band,"Battle Angels" alone is worth the price .

From: Proman1 Date: April 13, 2004 at 23:56
Sanctuary was the ultimate scream like a motherfucker band, no one sounds like Warrel Dane, he is great in Nevermore but I think this is where he truly shines, all of the songs are pure metal classics,

I used to own this album back in the 80s and lost it somehow. I've never forgiven myself for it. It's one of my all-time favorite metal records. "Die For My Sins" is probably one greatest metal songs of the era. Discovering this band is probably one of the smartest things Dave Mustaine ever did.

From: John! Date: May 22, 2004 at 12:29

The ultimate pure metal album. The songs "Battle Angels", "Die For My Sins" and "White Rabbit" shows the power of Warrel Dane vocals.

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: November 19, 2006 at 11:44

From: rick kerch vzla Date: August 19, 2013 at 16:47
I wasn't too impressed on this one to be honest, more than a classic release this is to me like one of those albums that probably became one by accident...musically talking the band has drunk from Queensryche and Candlemass style of shots for me are tracks 1,3,5,7,8 & 9(actually if you see the album is quite appealing in its all but nothing to kill for, just a decent one IMO)...Warren Dane's Nevermore is an atomic bomb comparing to this...70/100

From: hair metal again Date: August 30, 2022 at 10:22
