One of the classics of the Power/Thrash metal field. Pounding Metal still holds up even 20 years after it was recorded. These guys rivaled Metallica for thrash metal supremacy back the day.

First off, this is not their best album -"Heavy Metal Maniac" is without a doubt. One of the best ever. And second, this is not Thrash Metal at all - this is pure Power Metal. It did rival "Kill'Em All", but not for Thrash Genre purposes. It rivaled it plain and simply for just being one of the best Power Metal releases of that time period.
