| By this point Raven had gotten the pop metal bug out of their systems and returned to making real metal! Unfortunately, they lost momentum and their fan base diminished. Too bad because Life's A Bitch is a return to form. The original album was released on Atlantic but due to "poor albums sales" Raven was dropped from the big label after this disc. Probably the best thing that ever happened to them. http://www.nolifetilmetal.com/raven.htm

| This is the best of Raven's output (MAD has been split between the 3). Return to pre-Atlantic form (albeit slicker) after two albums that tried to fit in with the scene. This has a little more movement, more aggression, and much increased energy. For reference, not comparison, the sounds on this record cover ground familiar to fans of Judas Priest, Van Halen, Thin Lizzy, with more of a then-modern production. (4 of 5).

| One of the first speed metal bands. Raven were so far above most of their NWOBHM contemporaries. Nobody could touch them. This particular album was a decent return to their signature sound after flirting with pop for their last two records.

This one is a bada** release!!!...a mind blowing album with killer cuts in the shape of # 1,2,3,4,7,8,10 & 12...recommended eyes closed!...87/100
