|Whew! What a gritty, smoky, beer-soaked live set here, recorded in Detroit on the America's Volume Dealer tour. The sound is pretty raw, but not bootleggy at all. It just sounds like you're right in the bar with 'em. The tunes from the most recent disc have more bite here, without that album's muddy production and revved up for the live setting. Maybe would've liked to hear more songs from Blind, but oh well, other than that, it's hard to complain about the setlist, ending with a kick-ass version of "Clean My Wounds," complete with trippy breakdown in the middle.
