Black Sabbath Seventh Star Album Cover

Personnel
Glenn Hughes vocals
Tony Iommi guitars
Dave Spitz bass
Eric Singer drums
Geoff Nicholls keyboards

Seventh Star was intended to be a Tony Iommi solo album. However, the record company wanted the album released under the Black Sabbath moniker. A compromise was reached and the record was billed as Black Sabbath featuring Tony Iommi. When the band went on tour, they dropped Featuring Tony Iommi from their name and Iommi continued releasing new studio albums under the Black Sabbath name through 1995. The album has never been officially released on CD in the United States.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Black Sabbath CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Brutal Metal as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Black Sabbath are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Finally added! I love this album. I don't care what anybody says ( I know this was supposed to be an Iommi solo album) but Tony Iommi is Black Sabbath IMO and this is a Sabbath album. Very different from their previous albums but some great classics here with In For The Kill, Turn To Stone, Danger Zone, Seventh Star and the combination Angry Heart/In Memory. One of my top five Sabbath albums. This was also the first time I saw Sabbath in concert and Ray Gillen (RIP) handled all the songs flawlessly.
