Great comeback release from these guys! Heathen always get slagged as a second-tier/second-wave bay area thrash act,yet they've been around in some form since like '84 and there is nothing mediocre or second-tier about this band.David is in strong voice throughout yet has adopted a more noticeable attitude-driven,low to midrange approach with his vox as opposed to the higher/sometimes pseudo-operatic vox from the late 80's early 90's Heathen records.The guitarwork on here is exceptional.'Dying Season' is easily one of the best thrash tunes from the last 20 years.Glad to see these guys back in the fold.
