Semi-lighthearted thrash-metal from Baltimore, by wway of Martinsburg, West Virginia. They have songs about pussy and record-label troubles (the latteer caused the album to be delayed for a couple years until '89, effectively killing it), and a Pink Floyd cover. Divens (one-time Kix member, playing guitar on Cool Kids), sounds a little like Dee Snider on songs like "Candy From A Madman." The main attractio is the manic drumming of the upwardly-mobile Shannon Larkin, later of Godsmack.
