either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits,
live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the
Brutal Metal forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you
notice that a particular Black Label Society CD release or compilation is missing
from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page.
The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Brutal Metal
as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live
compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official
CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Black Label Society are also welcome to be added, as
long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

|Zakk's second album under the BLS name is possibly his heaviest. The bass has been pushed back in the mix, thankfully, but is still speaker-rattlingly present (on future releases, it will be all but inaudible). The songs continue on in the slow-moving, not particularly catchy vein of Sonic Brew, Zakk boooming his spiteful lyrics without much regard for melody. Still, if you like this kind of alcohol- and steroids-drenchd metal by way of Seattle and New Orleans, it's a good disc. My favorites would be the echoing "All For You," "Phoney Smiles, Fake Hellos," "Superterrorizer," would-be single "Counterfeit God," and the title track. Two more depressed ballads, one on guitar, one on piano, are nice as well.
