To me, this is the ultimate Fu Manchu album. It still has the super-fuzzed guitars and druggy aesthetic the band is famous for, but the songs are tighter, catchier and just plain better, withthe crazier psychedelic elements dialed back to emphasize stronger riffssome flat-out slammin' beats. Not exacctly a concept album, but almost all the songs are related to cars in some way (I have no idea what "Weird Beard" is about though), and the artwork is a trip. It's like Black Sabbath playing AC/DC songs with Ace Frehley singing. In other words, a total blast!

Highlights galore, including all of the first half, "Weird Beard" and the Devo cover, which sounds like just another of the band's own concoctions. And man, when that cowbell starts clanging in "Blue Tile Fever" and 'Freedom Of Choice," you MUST get yer head bobbing and yer ass shakin'!
