Excellent return to form for Fates Warning. "So", Pieces Of Me", and "Something From Nothing" are excellent songs but the real gem of this disc is "Still Remains". EXCELLENT progressive metal.

After doing several albums that basically all sounded the same it appears someone slapped these dudes and woke them up. Solid effort with a lot of energy, melody and hooks. Worth the money.

There is loads of ambient stuff going on here, however, what was immediately noticable to me was that Jim Matheos brought back the band's heavy guitar sound. Anyone who compares these guys to Dream Theater now, obviously has no clue. Fates are in a league of their own with "Disconnected."

The previous rate says it al (45/100)...the highlight in here is "Pieces of Me"...tracks # 2 & 3 perhaps...dull release to be honest but it's Fates if you know what i mean.70/100
