Brilliant! The three Swedish guys actually manage to bring old folk/viking music into heavy metal. So get your ass down to your record store and GET IT! Absolutely fantastic! Album of the millenniums!

From: Rycheage Date: January 5, 2002 at 15:58
This is an absolutely brilliant CD. If you enjoy epic power metal in the vein of Hammerfall or Blind Guardian, then this CD is for you. Excellent musicianship.

From: Geralt Date: February 28, 2002 at 16:03
Truly, this is one of the best albums I have ever heard! Power metal sang in a bardish(?!) way, quite different than other bands of the genre, such as abovementioned Hammerfall. You don't need to like templars of steel to love this album.

From: WhiteLion Date: May 23, 2002 at 5:01
Fantastic album! Inspired by swedish folktunes, folklore and power metal/heavy metal...any way it's metal to the bone There is virtually nothing like this out there.

From: Damien Date: September 19, 2002 at 11:17
I could not agree more with the above comments. This is by far one of the better Cd's I've heard. Damien gives Falconer a 8.5 out of 10. Keep up the good work you Sweeds!
