The second & last disc with the Classic Megadeth line-up. This is must have for any getting into speed metal/thrash metal. This is at least a 9.5, great songs & great musicianship. The stand out tracks are the title track, wake up dead & devil's island. Check it out if you dare! 9.5 on the swine scale....

One of the all time classic thrash records, right up there with Metallica's KILL'EM ALL and Overkill's FEEL THE FIRE in my opinion. They would never top this album!

Great album!! Good beat for Peace Sells as well. One more thing, Metallica sucks!

For my opinion, Metallica´s Kill ´em All beats this one really badly (what Fat Freddy was talking about)! Piece Sells is a good tune and there´s a couple of more, but this is not that solid what they did with R.I.P. line-up.

this is speed, power and early thrash metal, prolly the best Megadeth album ever, I love it. some lyrics sound like a b-horror tale sometimes

best album- along w/rust in peace-Mustaine highly inspired, some jazz influences. bad sound, really dark atmosphere, dark/black metal lyrics. very agressive and talented.

An unique sound, unique song writing and structure makes this one of the best metal albums ever. Not for the newcomers, must be assimilated first.

Not their best album but got some hard hitting riffs there. remind me of the early motley crue and ratt.

Megadeth should be compared with other bands of the genre, such as Anthrax, Metallica, Slayer, etc....comparing them to the Crue or Ratt is just damn silly...

slayer?i thought they are much more heavier and brutal than megadeth. But,anyway its better than comparing them to crue or ratt.my mistake.

Good album, but not the classic as many say it is. The title track is one of the top metal songs ever, and "Wake Up Dead" is awesome. The rest of the tracks contain great riffs but thats about it. 7/10

con todos mis respetos, a mi Metallica siempre me han tocado un poco los cojones...(vale, Kill'em all se deja escuchar). Los cuatro primeros temas del disco son sublimes, Chris Poland es una puta maquina de la guitarra... IMPRESIONANTE!!!!!!!!.8,5/10

No doubt megadeth best album although countdown to extinction and rust in peace is not far behind! The title track and wake up the dead is the best song in this list while the cover song of i ain't superstitious ad even more quality to the album. The guitar work in this album is just perfect. This album is in the class of metallica's master of puppet and slayer's reign in blood. A true thrash masterpicece!

After the barely-listenable mess that was Killing Is My Business in its original form, you could be forgiven for considering Peace Sells...But Who's Buying? to be Megadeth's real debut. Production is obviously much better, although still kinda raw, with a weird, trebly guitar sound that would make learning these songs by ear extremely difficult. Regardless, some of the band's best songs hail from this disc, includingi each of the first five songs. "Peace Sells," the song, iis a truly timeless metal classic with its indelible bassline (MTV News used to use this in its outro" "You! Here it"--dum-da-dum-dum-dum-diddit--"FIRST!"). "The only weak spot is "I Ain't Superstitious," which just sounds tossed-off and sloppy. Thrash band covers old blues song--a bad fit.

very good release for MEGADETH back in 86 sounding heavy and true with roaring vocals and excellent guitars but te rhythm section is genuine as well!the production isnt that strong but somehow fits well as it sounds very true!"wake up dead ""the conjuring""peace sells" are good songs indeed!
