Brutal Metal forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you
notice that a particular Motorhead CD release or compilation is missing
from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page.
The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Brutal Metal
as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live
compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official
CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Motorhead are also welcome to be added, as
long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

There's no such thing as a bad Motorhead album, just ones that are less great. Snake Bite Love is one of their--shall we say--more "serviceable" releases. Nothing wrong with it, except that few songs really distinguish themselves beyond being immediately identifiable as Motorhead. The band does have that tendency, especially post-Bastards, to pepper their albums with a handful of fairly interchangeable songs, where, if you heard them on shuffle, you wouldn't be able to name them until Lemmy barks the title. As such, Snake Bite Love just contains a higher percentage of those types of songs. It's a blast while it's blasting, though. My picks are "Love For Sale" and the rather frightening "Assassin." Other than that, I would have to go back and listen again to pick out more. Which proves my point.
